The pride of sushi that has grown with the times in Asakusa
Founded 111 years ago, the spirit of Asakusa Tawaramachi continues to be passed down
Since opening as a small sushi restaurant in Kappabashi in 1936, we have treasured our unpretentious, long-lasting relationships with our customers.
“I’m glad I came!” “It was delicious!” “I had fun!”
We do our best every day to hear those words.
Our 111-year-old sushi restaurant has been close to the downtown area of Asakusa and has continued to preserve the flavors and human kindness that have been passed down through the ages.

The craftsmanship and effort put into each and every step
In addition to fresh seasonal fish, we also offer carefully simmered conger eel, deeply flavored shiny fish, soft and sweet tamagoyaki rolls, and gently flavored dried gourd rolls.
Please enjoy the Edomae spirit of no effort spared on preparation.
Our specialty “conger eel rice bowl” is also popular with customers from afar.
Located next to Kappabashi Dogu-gai, this restaurant is frequented by food professionals
Our restaurant is located right next to Kappabashi Dogu-gai, a treasure trove of cooking tools,
and you can often find many “food professionals” here, including knife makers and chefs.
The fact that our sushi has been recognized as “delicious” by these discerning taste-seekers
is a source of pride and encouragement for us.
All prices are clearly displayed, and you can order sushi by the single piece.
This is a relaxed space where you can enjoy authentic flavors.

Heartfelt hospitality and a tatami room reflecting the four seasons
We have seating to suit a variety of occasions, including family anniversaries, memorial services, and company meetings.
In our calm tatami rooms, you can relax and enjoy seasonal kaiseki cuisine.
We also have private rooms equipped with karaoke and a large hall that can accommodate up to 60 people, making it perfect for celebratory occasions.
We can also propose menus based on the number of people and budget, so please feel free to contact us for more information.
Create unforgettable taste memories while sightseeing in Asakusa
With Tokyo Skytree towering over the restaurant in front, it is an easy location for tourists to stop by.
If you walk a little further from Sensoji Temple and Kaminarimon, you will find our restaurant, along with the Kappabashi shopping street.
For a luxurious lunch during your trip, or as a treat for the evening —
We will deliver unforgettable memories of our flavors, along with the scenery of the downtown atmosphere.

To be a store that will be loved for a long time
We have been in business for over 100 years.
Thanks to the support of our customers who say, “I’ll come again,”
we have been able to keep the good name alive to this day.
We would like to continue to be a local sushi restaurant that three generations of families can visit, cherishing the same unchanging flavors and warm atmosphere.
If you’re in Asakusa or Kappabashi, be sure to stop by.
